Kindergarten for Fall 2010 to be Four Days a Week

Prairie Rose School Division announced their decision to offer 0.8 FTE kindergarten programs at Isabel F. Cox School next year. This means that kindergarten programming will be offered for 4 full days per week. No decision has been reached regarding kindergarten fees at this time.
In anticipation of this decision, we have been researching the possibility of offering one day per week of child care to kindergarten aged children at our school. For example, if a child attends kindergarten from Monday through Thursday, they could possibly attend child care at the school on Fridays. This care would be provided at a cost that would be competitive with local daycare facilities, and would also be eligible for government subsidies. In order to pursue this further, we need to know if there is adequate interest in this option. Please contact the school regarding a form to fill out to let us know what you are planning to do.
